Return to Pre-Relationship Pants

Getting my age group 'medal'

Getting my age group ‘medal’

In my 20’s and 30’s I was a runner, even a one-time Olympic-distance triathlete.  I was a good runner, hitting a 6:30-minute mile.  And at that age, I took that level of fitness for granted. Blah. Blah. Blah. Yawn….

I ran my first half marathon in 10 years.  I won my age group category.  I can fit into my pre-relationship pants (i.e. pre-Hubby, Kiddo).  Here are some pictures.

Wrapping things up

Wrapping things up on the final stretch!

Special thanks to Hubby for entertaining Kiddo in the cold and wind while I ran, and for extra duty the two days after when the cold virus I had while running went full-blown.  And to Sis for saying a year ago, “Hey, wanna run a race with me in Cape Cod? But how we ended up in Vermont is a whole other story 😉 …
